Pink Out Day at Heidi Trask High School

Hope Abounds had the honor of being invited by Heidi Trask High School to participate in their Pink Out Day and Football Game on Friday, October 20th. During the event, Kenny Barnes conducted an educational program created by our Education Director, Heather King, which focused on family genetics and how it relates to cancer. The program aimed to raise cancer awareness, as early detection can help prevent the disease.

Joni Howell, a Math & Science teacher at the school, along with other school colleagues, chose Hope Abounds Cancer Network to be the beneficiary of their "Pink Out" Day!
