Are we really what we eat?
We have all heard the saying “You are what you eat”! We all have good intentions, but sometimes we are on a time crunch or maybe we can’t afford those food items we know we should be eating.
Are you aware of WHAT we put into our body can change HOW WE FEEL as well as our overall health?
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is a nonprofit corporation that is passionate about fighting for our health and the environment we live in. The EWG’s mission is to empower each of us with breakthrough research to make informed choices and live a healthy life in a healthy environment.
We should all eat more fruits and vegetables. Our bodies crave them for optimal health. When choosing these items, should we buy organic? If so, which ones should we spend the extra money on? The image above should help each of us make better choices of where to splurge with organic produce.
How we fuel our body matters!
Small changes can help fuel our body with the nutrients and vitamins we need to stay in the best health possible. Whether we are battling cancer, a cancer survivor, or hoping to avoid a diagnosis, we all need to be more thoughtful in what we are consuming.
We only have one body. We need to take care of it and fuel it the right way.
